Musculoskeletal ultrasound imaging (USI) has evolved beyond its traditional diagnostic role and is increasingly used as a research and clinical tool for evaluating the validity and effectiveness of examination procedures and therapeutic interventions. This webinar will explore how USI can provide objective visualization of tissue behavior, anatomical relationships, and treatment delivery to better understand common musculoskeletal assessment and management strategies.

Using examples from contemporary research, participants will learn how ultrasound has been applied to investigate the accuracy of musculoskeletal palpation techniques, quantify tissue responses during clinical examination maneuvers such as medial meniscal extrusion testing, assess spinal kinematic changes following manual therapy interventions, and evaluate procedural accuracy during dry needling.
