Global Pricing by World Bank Income Class
Overview
The POCUS Certification Academy’s goal is to make certification more accessible to healthcare professionals worldwide. We are pleased to offer reduced fees for eligible countries, in alignment with the World Bank’s national income classifications.
How eligibility is determined:
- The World Bank’s national income tiers are updated every year on July 1st using each country’s Gross National Income (GNI) per capita from the previous calendar year.
- Countries are classified into four tiers: low, lower-middle, upper-middle, and high income.
Determine Your Tier
Refer to the map above to identify your country of residence (see a full list of regions/countries/territories here) and match your color classification to the corresponding tier:

Apply the Discount Code
1. Log into the myPOCUS Portal with your POCUS number and password. If you don’t have a POCUS number, create one here.
2. Click the green ‘Apply for an Examination’ button to access the Learning Management System.
3. Select your desired POCUS Certification Academy Certification(s), click next, and complete the attestation.
4. Enter your applicable discount code as displayed in the chart. Click ‘Apply’, then select ‘Continue.’
5. Complete your application and payment to begin your certification components immediately. Click the certification name in your Certificate Plan to start.
Important Disclosure:
Misuse of the tiered pricing structure-including providing false information about your country of residence or eligibility-will result in immediate revocation of your enrollment and certification status. No refunds will be given in such cases.
