This webinar will describe organization, participation, and salient issues with using POCUS in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. It will include lectures, handouts and hands-on instruction and scoring of competencies in head, neck, thorax, heart rhythm and function and structural congenital disease, spine, liver, kidneys, abdomen, sexual apparatus, and in dwelling line placement and treatment follow-up.
Learning objectives:
- Show the organization of a new POCUS program in the NICU.
- Ultrasound instrument use and identification of normal neonatal structures abnormalities.
- Introduce a training program for neonatology fellows, attending physicians and nurse practitioners.
