This session will review the role of point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) in patients with abdominal trauma, including key peritoneal anatomy, the standard eFAST views, and practical scanning technique. Participants will see examples of both negative and positive eFAST examinations to reinforce image interpretation and recognition of free fluid.

- Describe the indications for POCUS in patients with suspected abdominal trauma and the role of the eFAST examination.
- Identify the basic peritoneal anatomy and common spaces where free fluid may accumulate on eFAST.
- Perform and interpret an eFAST scan, including recognition of normal findings and free fluid.
