LECOM POCUS Fest 2019

Our inaugural POCUS Fest 2019, hosted by the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) and presented by the Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS) Certification Academy™ was a great success. Students heard from the POCUS Certification Academy team of experts, who explained and demonstrated the benefits and usage of handheld ultrasound. What is POCUS Fest?

POCUS Fest is a one-day, immersive ultrasound experience designed to introduce students to the world of point-of-care ultrasound. This is a free event with the opportunity for attendees to learn all about and challenge themselves on POCUS! Sessions will include focused POCUS scanning challenges on Cardiac, Abdominal, MSK, and Lung.

 

 

Where and When is POCUS Fest?

WHEN?

The 1st Annual POCUS Fest will be held on Saturday, May 11th, 2019. The program will begin at 8:30AM and conclude at 2:30PM.

Specific details regarding schedule and timing will be released closer to the event.

WHERE?

POCUS Fest will be held at the The Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine Elmira Campus.
