Basic Point of Care Echocardiography Views
During this webinar, Dr. Magdy Imam provides an overview of basic cardiac ultrasound (echocardiography). He demonstrates how to obtain and interpret the five major cardiac windows and views of the heart. The demonstrations include how to:
- Evaluate left ventricular ejection fraction
- Estimate central venous pressure (CVP) for fluid status/ fluid tolerance
- Evaluate pericardial effusion/tamponade
- Identify pulmonary embolism
