Webinar:
Role of Ultrasound in Diagnosis of Ovarian Cyst
June 18, 2025 | 12:00pm ET
Ovarian cysts are a common concern in everyday practice for both family physicians and gynecologists. Accurate diagnosis is especially critical in acute or complicated cases. It’s also important to distinguish between cysts that are likely benign and those that may be malignant, as this significantly impacts management decisions. Ultrasound assessment systems like IOTA and O-RADS are commonly used to aid in this evaluation.
Learning objectives:
- Use point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) to diagnose ovarian cysts, particularly in acute or complicated cases.
- Identify features that raise suspicion for possible malignancy.
