How to Differentiate Various Types of Shock with POCUS

During this webinar, Dr. Mavani will discuss topics including differentiating cardiogenic and noncardiogenic shock, assessing volume status with point-of-care ultrasound, identifying tamponade or obstructive shock differences in POCUS, and using POCUS to diagnose valvular heart disease with dissection. Learning Objectives: Understand the use of POCUS in shock physiology. Differentiate the various shock states by using POCUS appropriately. Identify and understand mistakes to be avoided based on POCUS data.   About Our Speaker Keyur Mavani, MD, FACP, FACC, has been a practicing cardiologist for 7 years (invasive non-interventional) currently working at Geisinger Health System. He is a board certified in cardiac CT, nuclear cardiology, echocardiography, and vascular ultrasound with RPVI to care for patient with all types of cardiac and vascular diseases. Dr. Mavani is currently working on a cardiac MRI board certification. Questions? Email POCUS@Inteleos.org Webinar Disclaimer Education and Information Disclaimer
