Keynote Sessions

At these 1-hour sessions, industry leaders will establish and develop main conference themes and set the overall tone for the meeting. The thought leaders featured in these sessions will share educational, informative, and practical insights that we will benefit from learning.

At the opening keynote session, Prehospital POCUS: The Therapeutic Accelerator that Increases Your Efficiency, speaker Dr. Didier Moens promises to start the conference by exploring the impact and benefits of POCUS on healthcare. As the Head Doctor of the helicopter rescue base in Bra sur Lienne, Dr. Moens has a unique perspective of the rapid and effective difference this modality has on patient care in extreme cases.

As the closing keynote speaker, Dr. Matthew Riscinti’s session, Ultrasound as Disruptive Technology, will propel us into a deeper understanding of the innovations and advancements behind POCUS. His session will motivate us to continue to engage with and implement this modality in our practices.

Breakout Sessions

Throughout the virtual conference, we will have the opportunity to attend various 30-minute sessions created to facilitate the exchange of information, ideas, and POCUS educational strategies among healthcare professions. These presentations feature medical professionals from around the world.

All breakout sessions are in three tracks: Clinical Applications, Education, and Medical Trends. The conference includes sessions covering a wide range of topics.

The above sessions and more will be available during the conference. To ensure we have access to all the content offered, the Point-of-Care Ultrasound Certification Academy™ is going to record and provide session tracks following the end of the conference.

Small Group Discussions

The small group discussions will provide a more intimate platform for networking with fellow attendees and sharing information. These 45-minute sessions will consist of round-table discussions on timely and pressing POCUS topics. Discussion points include but are not limited to:

  • Lumps and Bumps – Discussion about everything soft tissue ultrasound in the POCUS environment.
  • POCUS for Global Health – Discussion of how POCUS impacts healthcare globally in remote or low economic regions.

Meet with the Exhibitors

The conference schedule also guarantees we will have the chance to connect with exhibitors for networking and access to short demos. Attendees can schedule one-on-one meetings, download resources, chat with exhibitors, and more.

Throughout the conference sessions, we will have the chance to ask questions and engage with one another through the chat feature. At the coaching corner, another opportunity provided by the conference, we can connect with POCUS experts for 15-minute one-on-one meetings. We will also have access to a library of on-demand recorded sessions and poster presentations.
