Question (Q): How do I register?
Answer (A): Registration for the 2021 POCUS World can be completed in three simple steps.
- Visit the conference page here.
- Click “Register Now to Attend the Conference.”
- Create an account on the conference-hosting platform (Digitell Inc), and then pay the registration fee.
If you are an existing member of the POCUS Certification Academy™ (PCA), you will need to create a new account to register for the conference. Your existing POCUS Certification Academy login credentials will not automatically be valid for the POCUS World Virtual Conference.
Q: How can I access a synchronous session that I was planning to attend but missed?
A: All sessions will be recorded and accessible on pocus.org after the close of the conference. Please keep in mind that the posting schedule and times may vary.
Q: I am no longer able to attend POCUS World. What should I do?

Q: Can I attend sessions in different tracks?
A: Conference tracks consist of suggested sessions that align with one of the three topics covered by the conference:
- Clinical Applications
- Education
- Medical Trends
The tracks are not mandatory, and guests may choose any session they would like to attend. This includes attending sessions in different tracks.
If interested in attending live sessions that overlap, guests will need to wait for the recording to be available on-demand on pocus.org.
Q: When will registered attendees receive event access instructions?
A: PCA will send all guests a welcome packet and instructions two weeks before the event. Included in the packet are instructions for attending the event, FAQs, and a list of resources to amplify your virtual experience.
Q: Which web browser does the event software perform best?
A: There is no suggested browser for the event software. However, you may test your system capabilities with our built-in system checker. Additionally, before and during the event, Digitell Inc. will provide guests with technical support. For more information, visit their support page to connect by email, phone, or chat for assistance.
Q: What do I need to do on the day of the event?
A: Log in! We recommend running the system checker before the start of the event to allow time for any troubleshooting.
Q: How long will recorded sessions be available?
A: Following POCUS World, all recordings and resources will be posted to pocus.org for free access. Once the recordings are posted, they will be indefinitely accessible from our resources pages:
Content will be posted over time, so the community should stay engaged for updates after the event has ended.
Q: Can I ask questions during sessions?
A: Live sessions will feature question-and-answer segments during the last five minutes of each session. In addition, participants can utilize the chat function to ask questions. Questions will be monitored and read by the session’s moderator.
Q: Are CME credits available?
A: Yes, PCA is in the process of selecting sessions for CME credits. More details will be available in the coming weeks.
