Its portable nature enables us to utilize it in rural and urban settings, enhancing global care. Over time, this modality has evolved into a staple of enhanced care in the eyes of patients and practitioners alike. As a community, we have come together to create opportunities to learn and engage with this tool.
Since our inception, The Point-of-Care Ultrasound Certification Academy™ has provided educational resources, partnered with other organizations and providers, and offered POCUS certification opportunities. We believe that the future of ultrasound is portable and support healthcare professionals who share this vision.
The upcoming 2021 POCUS World™ Virtual Conference promises to continue this mission. This global event provides a platform for us to expand our networks, earn continuing medical education credits (CMEs), engage with up-to-date implementations of POCUS, and much more.

These two medical professionals highlight how POCUS is a global modality with the power to change the standards of care everywhere. While from different backgrounds, their paths converge at POCUS. Both of these medical professionals have honed in on the value this modality provides, dedicated themselves to skillfully utilizing it in their practices, and are committed to supporting other healthcare providers who are looking to add this technology to their toolbox.
Their passion for how this tool can pave the path to higher standards of universal healthcare is apparent in the descriptions and objectives listed for their conference sessions.
